  • We measure airflow and lung volume to detect early signs of asthma or COPD.
  • Note: Recent exposure history is reviewed to ensure accurate results.
  •

3. Vision Screening

The Medical Difference

We Don't Just Report Problems; We Help Manage Them.

If a staff member shows significant hearing loss or lung issues, we don't just send you a confusing graph. Because we are a Medical Centre, our GPs can:

  • Review the results immediately.
  • Provide a medical consultation to the employee.
  • Refer to specialists (ENT or Respiratory) if required.
  • Advise on whether they are safe to continue in their specific role.

Health Monitoring FAQs

  • How often do we need to test?

WorkSafe generally recommends annual monitoring for high-risk roles (noise/dust). However, we also recommend a "Baseline" test immediately when a new employee starts, so you aren't blamed for pre-existing damage later.

  • Can you come to our site?

Yes. For groups of 10+ staff, we can arrange an onsite nurse visit. We just need a quiet, private room for the hearing tests.

  • What is the difference between this and a Pre-Employment Medical?

A Pre-Employment Medical checks if they are fit to start. Health Monitoring checks if the work is harming them over time. Both are essential for a complete safety system.
