Your Commitment, Our Promise
At 1 Health, we’re committed to providing a supportive, respectful environment where our team can deliver the best possible care — and where patients feel valued and heard. To help us achieve this, we ask all 1 Health Club members and casual visitors to follow a few simple expectations:
Respectful Environment
We have a zero-tolerance policy for abuse or disrespect towards our staff or other patients. We are committed to maintaining a safe, welcoming space for everyone.
Appointment Times & Consultations
To ensure quality care, we will advise an appropriate consultation length based on your needs. This helps us avoid rushed appointments and allows time to address your concerns fully.
Late arrivals may result in a shortened consultation or rescheduling (a partial fee may apply).
Missed appointments without adequate notice will incur a partial charge.
Payment Policy
Payment is required at the time of service. Late payments may incur additional charges to cover debt collection costs if necessary.
Prescriptions & Medical Guidelines
We follow Medical Council of New Zealand guidelines for all prescriptions, including controlled medications. In some cases, reviewing your previous medical records may be required, which may incur an additional fee.
Continuity of Care
For optimal outcomes, we encourage continuity by seeing the same clinician where possible. We also ask that patients use the patient portal to stay updated on test results and follow-up actions.
New Patient Process
New patient appointments typically begin with a nurse review, followed by a doctor review. Depending on your health history, a longer initial consultation may be recommended to ensure comprehensive care.
