At 1 Health, we are committed to maintaining a respectful and supportive environment for all patients and staff, and we have a zero-tolerance policy for any form of abuse, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for everyone.

We adhere strictly to medical council guidelines when prescribing controlled drugs. To assess ongoing appropriateness, extensive review of your previous notes may be necessary, incurring additional costs for the time spent. If, in accordance with current medical council guidelines, it is deemed inappropriate to prescribe controlled drugs for your care, there will still be associated costs.

Payment for services is due and expected at the time of service. Late payment may incur additional debt collection charges

Our reception and nursing team will advise a suitable consultation duration based on the complexity or number of issues to ensure comprehensive and effective resolution of all concerns during your visit. This approach is designed to minimize rushed consultations, promoting a thorough examination, and facilitates adherence to scheduled appointment times for the benefit of all.

By registering for the patient portal, you agree to receiving communication regarding test results and be advised of any necessary follow-up actions. This ensures that you stay informed and do not miss any important information

New patient appointments will commence with a nurse review, followed by a doctor's review, ensuring any necessary screening updates or follow-ups are prioritized. Depending on the complexity of your medical history, a longer consultation with the doctor may be recommended to comprehensively address critical aspects of your care, in addition to addressing the specific reason for your visit.

Late Arrival Policy: If you arrive late for your appointment, we may need to reschedule to ensure our clinicians can provide the quality care you deserve without feeling rushed, there will be a partial charge to cover for the staff member’s time. If we proceed with the appointment, it may be shortened out of respect for the next client. Thank you for your understanding.

Missed Appointment Policy: Please notify us promptly if you can't make your appointment, allowing us to assist someone else during that time. A partial charge will apply for missed appointments.
