Our process is streamlined to ensure you meet the official medical standards required for your licence class.

- Heart & BP: Cardiovascular health check to meet approved standards.
- Sleep & Fatigue: Screening for sleep apnoea risks and alertness.
- Medical History: Review of diabetes, neurological health, and medications.
- Drug & Alcohol (Optional Add-on): Fast, non-invasive screening that meets the latest 2023 NZ standards. Perfect for 'For-Hire' P-Endorsement drivers or heavy vehicle renewals.
Please bring to your appointment: Your current driver’s licence, your glasses or contacts (if worn for driving), a list of current medications, and your DL9 form (if you have one).

A standard DL9 medical is $110. For drivers aged 65+, a Mini Ace assessment is an additional $35. We also offer combined Drug and Alcohol screening starting from $25–$110 to help you meet company compliance in one visit
Do I need to be a 1 Health patient?
No. You do not need to be enrolled with us. We welcome casual patients for driver medicals.
Can I come on the weekend?
Yes. We have specific slots available on Saturdays and Sundays to suit shift workers.
Do you submit the form for me?
No, you take the completed form away with you to submit to an NZTA agent (such as AA or VTNZ) yourself.
