If there are any lesions of concern, we will discuss management options with you.

Persistent untreated acne causes scarring in the long term which is easily preventable
-
We recommend that you book an appointment with the doctor to discuss treatment options
-
We often observe that after trying several over-the-counter lotions and potions, individuals end up spending more than necessary, yet only see minimal improvement in their acne.
-
We can look at multiple treatment options such as topical creams and gels, anti-septics, antibiotics, hormonal therapies and isotretinoin (more commonly known as Roaccutane).
Hair loss
-
Hair loss can have a variety of causes
-
For hair loss associated with aging also called male pattern hair loss, female pattern hair loss or androgenic alopecia there is effective long term treatment for this.
-
We will assess causes and discuss treatment options for hair loss which can include some oral medications depending on the cause.
Fungal Nail infection
-
Fungal nail infections can cause a thickened flakey yellowish-green nail.
-
It can be treated with oral medications. Topical treatments (nail paints) generally have a poor sucess rate
-
We can do some testing to confirm that this is what we are dealing with and discuss treatment options.
